Customer Relationship Specialist

If your love of the bean has evolved into a career, or you are a customer service professional with coffee cupping experience, it’s time to join one of the finest decaffeination companies in the specialty coffee industry.
We are looking for a coffee professional…and no, that does not mean purchasing six cups a day at the local drive-through.
Reporting to: Senior Customer Relationship Manager (National Accounts)
Key Responsibilities:
Applying your strong sales and customer service background, ideally with corporate national and international accounts, you will be working with some of the finest coffee roasters and importers in North America and the world, handling customer orders, generating sales, building and maintaining customer relationships, participating in our daily coffee cuppings, and providing vital marketing and sales input. You will use your excellent communication skills to handle inbound and outbound calls and electronic communications with customers globally. Expect to make up to eight business trips per year to meet customers and represent Swiss Water Decaffeinated Coffee Company at trade shows.
Qualifications:
Candidates must have at least a year of experience in the customer service, sales, food, beverage, restaurant, hospitality and/or specialty coffee industries. An understanding of what it takes to build and maintain customer loyalty with national and international accounts is required. Ideally you possess coffee cupping experience, but if you truly have a passion for coffee and are enthusiastic and results-focused, we will provide training. A post-secondary education with a diploma or degree is highly desirable. Computer proficiency (MS-Word and Excel) and excellent communication and relationship-building skills are essential, as well as availability for travel.
